So many perks, it is hard to keep track of them.
TC package high, even compared to other FANG. Take this with a pinch of salt, as there are very good reasons why this is the case.
Nice office spaces as the offices start reopening.
Smart colleagues to interact with, although most have devolved into code factories.
It's quite a feat how Facebook has produced such garbage systems despite hiring so many smart people.
The PSC culture here is not a growth mechanism but more of a whip. You will be pushed hard here, even if you are a strong engineer. Expect long work hours and little teamwork, as everyone pushes their own agenda independently to make their PSC goals and survive.
Diffs per day is the measure used here, not quality. There is not much to learn from senior engineers here, as most of them are just code monkeys that are pushing more code than others but of equally poor quality.
Enjoy your stock vests.
Good. I had 2 algorithm interviews, 1 design interview, and 1 behavioral interview, with small coding questions at the end. The office in London is very nice. Algorithm questions involved tree traversal, which I needed to know really well. My sugg
Tree question. Couldn't give tips at all. Interviewer was disconnected and condescending for each reject in 45 minutes. Really terrible candidate experience. There have been few good experiences with Meta.
There were 5 rounds of interviews. The first round was with HR. The second round was a technical round with architecture questions. The next round involved a coding interview with detailed C++ 17 and C++ 20 features.
