Compensation (unless your market timing is bad)

Internal resources (basically unlimited $ for stuff like servers/hardware)

Cons

Very ambiguous environment. Very little training. Culture/performance metrics incentivize selfish, sloppy decision-making.

Advice to Management

A strategy of investing in people, with a goal of lower attrition, would improve so many things at Meta.
