I only made it to the first round and was rejected. I had the most optimal solution in all cases but forgot to mention a more optimal solution that was possible in some cases, which led to my rejection. I was stunned when I was rejected, but later

First was a recruiter call and then five rounds of interviews with technical, system design, and team fit rounds, which could both be in person or online as I chose.

Passed the first one, but need to give the optimal solution for the second one. The time complexity of Leetcode solution is O(NlogN) but need to provide a O(N) solution which is better than Leetcode solution.
