Good Compensation/Perks, but not sure about product direction
Company has good technology, AI capability, and great contributions to the AI community. Good compensation. Perks have been trimmed but are still better than the market. Great culture for inclusivity; great colleagues. Recent flattening in the manager chain is a step in the right direction to solve the empire-building problem.
Stagnated product direction, reorg often, which directly impacts the possibility of IC direction contribution.
New bets are too new to be reliable.
Layoffs hurt morale.
44 hours/week is manageable and not overstretched. However, there are many things to do and not enough time for learning new things (outside of the day-to-day job).
- Product development should be more user-centric.
