The amount of freedom you get as an engineer is unlike anything I've seen. We have a culture that, while going fast to build new things, strives to improve the codebase and overall code quality.
There are still a lot of bugs in the codebase. Some employees are quite harsh in their review of other people's work, but I'm willing to write this off to people wanting everyone else to be excellent.
