Facebook services serve users at a totally different scale. There are a lot of custom software built to handle its scale. Even if you are not working in distributed systems, Facebook works on a lot of various aspects of software engineering, and there is always a place that suits your experience.
Facebook uses a lot of custom software to handle its special needs. Your experience using a particular tool may not apply here, which means you need to relearn a lot of things.
No advice so far.
During company-wise all-hands meetings, all management levels answer tough questions directly. This is a huge plus compared to my previous company.
