Even as an intern, you have great responsibilities. You work with really smart and cool people. You have the liberty to decide how, when, and where you'll work. Your opinion matters. You do stuff that has an impact on almost a billion people. There is delicious food. You get the coolest perks and benefits you could want to have.
In a "move fast" culture, it's not so easy to get involved if you're not proactive.
