Lots of interesting technical work is going on, and it has a reasonable work-life balance. I was able to do all of my work with 40 hours per week of focused effort.
Sometimes there can be work overlap between teams. The good thing is that it gives cross-functional development opportunities. The bad thing is that you need to do a disciplined search to see if anyone else is working on the same thing. You don't want to duplicate effort.
