You can have a lot of product influence.
At the time, the company was growing rapidly.
Really nice perks; the food was incredible.
I loved the idea of choosing my own team, but my teams were always getting cut by middle managers who thought that impact equals reorg.
Many who were promoted to manager positions were not good managers. Also, I had 7 managers over 3 years.
Remote offices, particularly for product teams, weren't kept in the loop enough.
