Good work-life balance on my team. Doing meaningful and impactful work. Managers that show care. Thoughtful colleagues.
Sometimes, when the team gets too big, management becomes an issue.
The typical engineering interview process can take a whole day and is exhausting. I would not recommend taking it again, and I won't for myself since I don't even want to work for Meta, which is a dying business, in my opinion.
It was smooth, and they provided all the necessary details upfront to prepare for the interview. The coding part is always the hardest challenge coming from a non-IT background. I will have to practice a lot more.
Most interviewers were open and easy to communicate with. However, one interviewer provided terrible hints for the coding question, which led me astray. This interviewer was simply a poor communicator.
