Pros

If you go the bootcamp route, you get to pick your team when you first start. Although it's not a perfect process, it's much better than random assignment.

To add on to the above point, there are teams that offer different types of WLB and career growth pace.

Smart people are around every corner.

Cons

The shift to annual PSC hasn't been received particularly well, especially since lots of planning (and even a touchpoint) is still based on halves.

Morale can be low due to stock price, especially if you joined in mid-late 2021.

Like all big companies, it can get political.

Advice to Management

Sometimes, maybe moving a bit slower isn't so bad. Although shifting PSC to annual might have had good intentions, we aren't really seeing benefits yet. Maybe it needs some more time and momentum.
