Sometimes Facebook feels like barely organized chaos, but it somehow works! A huge part of the culture is bottom-up; the day-to-day, week-to-week direction really does flow from the employees much more than the management.
It took a while to get used to the open spaces and the diverse campus locations, but I'm used to it now (a year in), and again, it doesn't really get in the way that much.

Let people know what is going on in your heads more often. The town halls are great, but I'm talking about VPs and directors, and not just within their own orgs. Short posts, without lots of wordsmithing. Keep the ICs in the loop in your visions!
