I can only speak for an IC (individual contributor) or what we generally call a software engineer.
- Clear career path. From E3 to E5 or even a senior staff role, there is always a path you could find.
- Good mentorship.
- Fast promotion, as long as you can keep making a bigger impact.
- Clear goals for the company. FB is very good at setting up good metrics.
- Cool perks, needless to say.
- Have to compete for getting impact.
- Is ads a good thing?
