Amazing place to be an intern
Facebook treats its interns comically well. Great pay, great food, and very bright people. My team had a very interesting project that aligned with my interests, and I received great mentorship while I was there.
I've heard that your experience at Facebook is largely defined by the team you work for. If you get stuck with a bad project or team, it will definitely impact your experience. The constant bad press is also not great, but internally the company does a pretty good job being transparent about everything that's going on.
