Meta

So many but:

• You get to build products that impact the daily lives of 3 billion people.
• You get to be at the forefront of technology and the evolution of the internet (metaverse, etc.).
• Despite what the media would lead you to believe, I strongly believe that Meta drives net positive good for people across the world. For example, our tools and free services helped people stay connected to their loved ones during the COVID crisis. COVID lockdowns would have been significantly worse without our products.
• Strong autonomy - there's very little process and still room for individuals to forge their own path.
• Top-of-the-market pay and benefits. There really are very few other alternatives employers that are able to match Meta's overall package.
• Great people. Smart and humble, friendly but dedicated to their work.

The press cycle and current overall sentiment towards Meta (driven by the media) is a drain. It's not much fun having to defend your employer with friends and family.

Let's be more vocal about the benefits we're bringing to people across the world.
