Free food. Free transportation. Project was decently interesting.
Worked after internship hours to complete projects. Did not get a return offer, like most interns.
A very typical interview, as expected for a company like Meta. Nothing particularly surprising. It's good to prepare in advance, know why you want to work there, and understand what the role might include.
Recruiter round followed by a 1-hour tech round of Python & SQL. Followed by an onsite with 4 rounds covering data modeling, product sense, and ownership. I thought it went well, but did not receive an offer.
I applied through employee referral and got the call from the recruiter the following week. I took a couple of weeks to prepare for the phone screen and passed it. I'm still preparing for the on-site interview.
