Staff Engineer • Current Employee
Pros: Micron globally has strong rules, values, and compliance pillars. The company’s resources and policies are well‑defined on paper.
Cons: Performance evaluation is debatable, but personal and derogatory comments are routine. Senior managers misuse Workday to misrepresent employees.
Director who does nothing: The top QA CoE leadership in India ignores complaints and openly supports senior managers, even when they violate compliance and ethics.
Compliance violations:
* Passwords are shared in Teams chats, bypassing vault controls.
* Employees are expected to obey managers even if it is against company policy, and even swipe attendance on their behalf.
* This is a direct breach of Micron’s own IT security and HR standards.
Unfair targeting: High performers with strong ratings and promotions are suddenly put on PIP. PIP goals are set unrealistically high—designed to force failure, not support growth.
Sexual misconduct ignored: Even after official complaints, sexual predators are roaming free. The QA CoE India senior leader does nothing and protects managers instead of employees.
Retaliation culture: Employees who raise concerns are targeted in Workday comments and performance cycles. PIP is used as a weapon, not a developmental tool.
Micron Hyderabad is a torture house under current leadership. Ignore the salary offers—your mental health and career are worth more.
