Junior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Israel
Process
The first interview is a Teams interview, approximately 30 minutes long. It is conducted with an HR representative.
During this interview, you will need to describe who you are, why you want to work at Microsoft, and your perspective on what constitutes a good software engineer. There will also be other questions designed to assess your motivation and engagement.
Additionally, one "technical" question will be asked. This question is more of a puzzle than a coding exercise. The interview is conducted in English.
Questions
You have a weight device that can compare two sizes at a time. You also have a stone divided into five pieces. The size of each piece is an integer. You need to know the weight of each piece. Is this possible with up to four uses of the weight device?
