Process

The process was an HR screening, followed by a Python panel round consisting of five interviews. I passed the screening and went for the loop rounds. All rounds were pretty good. I got interviewed by principal-level engineers and managers. The questions were around data modeling and system design, and coding was in Python with the hiring manager. I didn't pass the interview. Overall, the experience was good. The HR was very helpful and gave feedback as to where I could have done better. Everything was fast and got completed within two weeks. The result was released in the action center, and then the HR emailed me back after four to five days.

Questions

There were a lot of questions about data modeling and architecture.- What's a star schema, and why is it called that?- A lot of questions around dimensions and fact tables.- One made-up scenario where I was asked to use AI.
