One of my friends handed over my resume to his employer on the last day of his own internship. Three weeks later, I was contacted by a recruiter from Microsoft. She connected me with a Microsoft interview manager, who asked me where I would prefer to do an internship. Then he told me to wait until I was notified by them for the first interview.

A week later, I received an invitation for a phone call. I asked if a video interview was not possible, but they replied that this time it was audio only – not with any serious questions, but just to get to know me and my experiences better.

I am now preparing for the interview.
