It was a straight four rounds of interviews on the same day. Due to Covid-19, the rounds happened online.
Timings of the rounds were not scheduled. On every round, I proceeded only after a positive response from the previous round.
In the first round, I was asked to build an image slider. Choice was given on the technology. Since, during the briefing, they said React was the main tech, I used the same. I implemented CSS as well. But weirdly, I found the interviewer got confused on how React works. They also asked a DSA question.
The second round was full DSA and a couple of React questions. I felt again that the interviewer didn't have a good grip on React.
The third round was more of generic frontend and problem-solving. Same here. The frontend knowledge of the interviewer was not up to par to question me.
The fourth round interviewer seemed to have good knowledge based on his introduction. But he didn't ask me a single frontend question. And I screwed up the DSA question he asked.
I could have done better from my side in the fourth round, but probably the first three rounds made me lose interest in Microsoft regarding the Frontend role.
