I interviewed for a Senior SDE position at a hiring event. The process consisted of an online assessment followed by a day of onsite interviews.

There were four rounds covering algorithms and design.

The questions were fairly easy, and I performed very well in all the rounds. I cannot disclose further details due to an NDA.

I was expecting an offer, but to my surprise, I received a generated auto-response indicating a rejection after just one day.

I had constant communication with the recruiter throughout the entire process. After the rejection, there was zero response from the recruiter regarding feedback.

I honestly believe the interview was just for headcount, as I cannot think of any reason why I would have been rejected. I also noticed the position I applied for was marked "applications are not accepted" even before my interview.
