Pros: Industry leader. Strong engineering culture. Lots of talented engineers and leaders, and many great products. You will gain a good reputation if you have ever been a Microsoft engineer.
Cons: Far away from other rivals, Ms has its own process, architecture, and culture.
Ms tries to build everything from scratch. This results in a strong engineering team, but could also lead to slowness.
