I was contacted by HR through Instahyre. The position was for the HYD location, and they came to Pune for the interview.
First round – a candidate who appeared quite junior to me asked basic questions on Java class modeling. Having over 12 years of experience in Java, I completed it with no effort. No algorithm or design questions were asked.
That was the only question, and then I was asked to leave. There was no further round. I asked HR what happened. HR denied giving any specific reason, but requested feedback on the interviewer. HR repeatedly requested this feedback, and I got the feeling there was something wrong with the interviewer; HR themselves were not happy.
This was for the Microsoft EDGE team – they are really a bunch of idiots. Never waste time interviewing with this team.
I was interviewed for Microsoft three times before and cleared three rounds each time. I never had such a bad experience. This team is really not up to MS standards, or at least not as per Microsoft standards.
