This was for Clod and Applications, the Power BI gateway team.
It involved a phone screen and three technical rounds.
Topics were pure Computer Science and Data Structures, all done on whiteboards. No Azure, no databases, no REST, and no WCF were involved – just plain CS.
Phone interview:
Design an elevator: How many elevators do you need for an n-storied building?
Figure out whether a given tree is a Binary Search Tree (BST) or not.
First technical round:
Write a function to get the Fibonacci number using both iteration and recursion.
In a given 2D plane, how will you find if a given coordinate lies within a rectangle?
Second Round:
Design Elevator: The interviewer was the same as the phone interview person, so the questions were the same.
