Process
Conducted five interviews, all focusing on coding questions. The interviews and individuals were good. All interviews took place on the same day and at the same location. Overall, it was a good interview and process experience. I would recommend this.

Good place to work (I've been there over 20 years)
Senior Software Engineer • Current Employee
Redmond, Washington, United States
April 5, 2016
Pros: Microsoft is stable, treats its employees well, pays them well, and you get to work with a lot of smart people. There are free beverages and reimbursement up to $800 for fitness expenditures. They offer top-notch benefits and have a huge positive impact on people's lives. There are lots of opportunities if you look, and it can be a great experience if you find a good manager.
Cons: Easy to get lost in a large group.
Terrible if you don't have a good manager.
Emphasis is often too much on process.
Work-life balance still isn't great.
Some groups aren't receptive to new ideas.
As a rule, collaborating cross-group is challenging.
