I recently had a review at Microsoft, and I'm happy to say it was a fantastic experience.

Instead of a typical, formal, and sometimes tense performance discussion, this one was positive, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable.

The atmosphere was surprisingly relaxed. We started the conversation by discussing my recent projects and accomplishments, but it felt more like a casual chat than a formal report. My manager created a comfortable environment where I felt encouraged to share my successes and lessons learned without any pressure.

It was great to feel that my hard work was truly seen and appreciated.
