Senior Staff Hardware Engineer Interview Experience - Mountain View, California

Process

Interviews were standard electrical engineering interviews, including technical and behavioral questions. Interviewers were knowledgeable in their fields, and interview sessions were interactive.

The negative experience stemmed from Microsoft travel schedulers and their lack of communication and organization, both within the group and with external vendors like the Fort Collins Marriott. I was charged for the hotel, and multiple phone calls and emails to both organizations for over four months have still not resolved the expenses. This is despite acknowledgement from the travel agency and Marriott that the charges should be refunded.

Interview candidates should be aware when checking out of hotels reserved by MS Travel and ensure they are not charged, to avoid situations like this.
