HR called me. Since I was local, instead of a phone screen, she arranged for me to come on-site. I talked to two hiring group leads. One proceeded for a real on-site interview.
The on-site interview took almost two weeks to schedule (by someone else). I was supposed to meet three people. The person I was supposed to meet at the reception desk didn't come. I talked to the two who came to meet me. Both were super nice. We talked for about 15 minutes, then I was given a problem to think about.
An hour later, two of them came and asked if I had any questions. After lunch, I discussed my solution/ideas with them separately. They both seemed to like my ideas (two of which they hadn't thought of). It seems all went exceedingly well so far.
Then came three 1-on-1 interviews with whiteboard coding. I didn't do well on any of them.
Two weeks later, after I contacted HR and was given a schedule when I could talk to her, she told me no.
