Process
I was contacted by a recruiter and flew to Redmond without a phone screen. The recruiters took us out to dinner twice over the 3-day trip.
There was one full day of interviews, with 5 interviewers in total. The interviews included general design and coding questions, such as reversing a linked list, string parsing, and trees.
I was notified by the last interviewer that I would likely receive an offer.

Pros: One of the best in terms of perks, work environment, and work resources. It gives independence to work on projects and features.
Cons: Slow growth in terms of promotions and pay.
Politics and more of a "show game" that brings people to the limelight.
No honest meritocracy.

Pros: Compensation and perks are right up there, at least if you work in Puget Sound. Obviously, the enterprise is big enough that there is loads to explore.
Excellent work-life balance (depends on the team though).
Very friendly people (mostly).
Cons: Easy to get into teams that have flaws.
Management screws up a lot, and this could affect your day-to-day activities.

- Lots of opportunity to try something new without leaving the company
Cons: - Too much political "crap"
- The company has been failing for the last few years due to poor decisions, execution, and agility.
