Process
Recruiters came to campus and held a programming contest. I attended the competition and submitted my resume.
One week after resume submission, I had a 30-minute campus interview. I didn't hear back from the recruiter one week after the interview, while many of my friends did.
I sent an email asking for feedback and received the rejection email after another week.
Questions
Only one question:
Delete the duplicate files in a file system (this has to resolve much ambiguity).

Pros: In the right team, you'll work with great people and learn all the time. Microsoft is involved in a huge number of different products and roles, and mobility within the company is normally fairly easy.
It can actually be a great place to learn new skills. After you've built a track record of success, people will give you a try at things you probably wouldn't have been hired into directly.
Cons: In the wrong team, you'll work against great people and make each other dumber. Don't expect your management to help you find a good fit; it just isn't something the company is good at. You need to manage your own career.
Keep shopping yourself around. Don't get stale.

Not a bad place to work

Pros: I worked for Bing, and the work was pretty challenging.
Cons: As it is a very big company, the role of a single employee is minimal. Also, if the work location is not Redmond, your work might be scrapped off and de-prioritized.
Pay in India is less compared to many other companies.
