The interviewer mentioned he hadn't had breakfast and I was the last person before his lunch around noon. He somewhat appeared bored and annoyed throughout the process, just asking questions from a sheet and writing down some notes.

Pros: Abundance of knowledge resources, professional and career mentorship, scope for making a great impact on the world, opportunities to switch to several different roles and products within the company, great working conditions, and an amazing place to live (Seattle area).
Cons: Lack of vision for the company at the highest levels of management, bureaucracy, not being agile with respect to competition from smaller companies, and getting isolated into highly-specialized silos of work.

Pros: Get and stay healthy.
Medical, dental, and vision care.
Competitive pay with employee discounts and benefits.
Cons: The same disadvantages of working at any large software company: bad managers, uninteresting work, poor recognition and remuneration for outstanding effort, etc., etc.
However, working at Microsoft has more advantages than most other software companies, and I'm not talking about just pay.
