A nice Indian guy asked about my project and background. He was then interested in a card game project, so he asked me to design one. This was mainly about Object-Oriented Design (OODesign).

Pros: Great benefits. Redmond campus has some great places to work. Always a ton of interesting problems to solve. Impact on computing, software development, and most anyone who uses a computer is hard to overstate.

Cons: Huge company, not even a company really, but a ton of smaller companies that don't always work well together. Huge products like Windows, Office, etc., can stifle innovation that might lead to competition. Many larger groups are run top-down, and giving feedback can be difficult, especially around arbitrary technical decisions.

Pros: You can work in different areas, since the company does a lot of stuff in various areas.

Cons: Stagnation after a while. Growth opportunities are few.

Cons: I didn't find the work to be as engaging as it could have otherwise been. It is definitely like working in a huge corporation.
