Process

I applied online through the university portal and received an email about conducting a phone interview about a month later. The phone interview went well. It was mostly questions about what I had done so far in college, with a few related to programming.

A couple of weeks later, I received an invitation for an in-person interview in Cambridge, but it was later changed to Charlotte.

The interview consisted of Microsoft's usual 5-6 rounds of one-on-one sessions, with lunch after the third one. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

Questions

Creating a detailed test plan for functions related to gaming, e.g., collision detection.
