Pros: Excellent people to work with. Very good perks.

Cons: The review system is very screwed. If ratings get spoilt once, it's hard to come out of that.

Pros: Not even one good reason one should work here. The culture, management, and work are all just below average. I know it's hard for people to believe this, but it's actually true that Microsoft is no longer the place to work for. It's just getting worse and worse day by day. I would advise everyone to think ten times before joining here, rather than regretting it later.

Cons: Lots and lots of challenges. * No job security at all. * Work culture is poor. * The work is NOT satisfactory. * Worst management.

Pros: If someone can fool management (which is easy), then that person can enjoy luxury, good pay, and perks without any effort. Promotions depend on your relationship with your manager and his/her peers. A person's capability is given relatively less weight. Personal growth will be good if a person manages relationships and is always a "yes boss." The moment a person gets into discussion mode, growth stops, and mostly you will be forced to leave the company. Personal growth in comparison to external skills will be zero.

Cons: Office Vulture is pathetic, especially for lateral hires. No one wants to learn from others. Every department is reinventing the wheel. No good/bad practice sharing. Decisions/processes are made/changed without looking at the good/bad experiences of people working on the ground. Copycat mentality. Senior management always talks about changes as competitors are doing instead of innovation.
