Process

  1. College recruiters visited my school and contacted me for an in-person interview.

One round, one person. Random and technical questions, including "How many gas stations are there in the United States?"

  1. On-site interview at Redmond.

5 rounds (including lunch). Interviewers were from different teams within the same division. Mostly technical questions, such as designing an algorithm and then optimizing it, designing test cases for a program, etc. Some random questions, such as "Why do you want to work for Microsoft?" One person showed me a new app their team developed, then asked how I would implement it and what I would do to improve it.
