I saw an ad for the opportunity at college and applied. After passing the CV screening, I had a phone interview. This was for an opening in Redmond targeted at Brazilian students.
The interviewer asked about my college experiences, previous programming experience and portfolio, and posed some technical questions.
I didn't pass because the main question was about software testing, a topic I was unfamiliar with. While there were internships in both development and testing, it was evident they were looking for candidates willing to accept the testing positions.
