Software Development Engineer Interview Experience

Process

The phone screen didn't really consist of traditional programming problems, but I was asked a lot of questions about my experience.

One HR screen, with very typical questions; it was easy.

On-site interviews consisted of 5 one-on-one interviews. Three interviews before lunch were a mix of going over my resume and then a 1.5-2 hour programming/design question.

There's no way I could have studied for the questions they asked, but a good understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and expertise in the language of your choice (e.g., C# or C++) will serve you well. Relax, be yourself, and get a good night's sleep.
