Process

A recruiter contacted me after finding my resume in their system. I had a call with her, and she set me up for a subsequent call with the hiring manager. A tech screen with him followed a few days later. It was challenging, but I performed well enough to receive an invitation to interview at their Redmond office.

I flew out a few weeks later and interviewed with six different people throughout the day. Everyone was very nice, the offices are gorgeous (Studio West), and the interviews were demanding. They were very impressed with my background, and I had a very positive experience throughout the day.

An offer was made a few weeks later, and I accepted. The salary was lower than I anticipated, but the cost of living in Seattle is significantly lower than in San Francisco, where I currently reside. I will be moving there in less than a month.
