Process

I applied online and received a reply after one month. I was asked to arrange a phone or Skype interview. I chose Skype because it would be more comfortable for me. Skype and phone interviews are exactly the same, as the interviewer did not request a video chat through Skype. There were three questions, and none were technical, which was a surprise.

The questions were as follows:

  1. How would you test a keyboard?
  2. How would you design an alarm clock for blind people?
  3. There are three baskets with apples, oranges, and a mix of apples and oranges. Each basket has a tag: 'apple,' 'orange,' or 'mix.' We know that all three tags are wrong. You have only one opportunity to pick one fruit from one basket. How will you choose to identify these three baskets?

Later, the interviewer asked me about my interests and my project experience, relating them to my stated interests. The interviewer was very kind and professional.
