The first interview was an on-campus screening at my university. It was about 45 minutes in length and I was asked two behavioral questions and one technical question. In this interview, you're asked which Microsoft teams you're interested in joining, which will later be reflected in which team will interview you in the second round. After two weeks, I got an email from an interviewer scheduler for an on-site interview at Microsoft's headquarters in Bellevue, Washington.
The interviews, at least in my case, were three back-to-back interviews with engineers from the Cloud & Enterprise team. The interviews were each one hour in length and they varied from technical questions, design questions, and behavioral questions.
Overall, it was a good experience. They paid for the whole trip, sightseeing, food, and Uber!
