Process

I applied for a junior position in Bucharest, RO (Remote), in March 2022. The process took one month and consisted of an online assessment, followed by a virtual on-site interview.

Online Assessment (OA): I completed a Codility assessment with three Data Structure and Algorithm (DSA) questions, styled like LeetCode problems. The first question was Easy, the second Medium, and the third a tricky Medium. I received the results in two weeks.

Virtual On-Site (OS): I participated in four interviews, each on a different day and lasting one hour.

  1. The first interview included a brief 15-minute conversation about my background, followed by a 45-minute coding challenge. This LeetCode Medium question involved priority queues.
  2. The second interview was a System Design discussion.
  3. The third interview was another coding challenge, again with a 15-minute introduction and a 45-minute coding question. This LeetCode Medium question involved strings.
  4. The fourth interview was a behavioral assessment.

I received the rejection email two hours after my last interview.

Questions

I can't disclose them, but I found both of them on LeetCode.
