I have been interviewed by 4-5 MS recruiters for different SE roles so far. It seems that not only were they incompetent, but they also made assumptions about what you are looking for. One of them asked me specifically which of two SE roles I would choose, and then said, "No, you would be fit for the other one" (which was more coding-related, by the way). I feel that they do not respect candidates, as there are many people who like to work at Microsoft, and they are only numbers to them. I really wish Microsoft would change its recruiters because they ruin the company's image with their arrogance and feeling of superiority.
