This, according to me, was the best interview I'd ever given, yet the outcome was not what I was expecting.
Applied via their website. Heard back from the Hiring Manager within two weeks.
They set up an initial phone screen with another Engineer.
Had to follow up constantly for over a month to finally get invited for 4 rounds of virtual onsite.
- Round #1 - Technical React Interview (task-based) with Senior Engineer
- Round #2 - Purely behavioural with Director of Engineering
- Round #3 - System Design and Behavioural with Principal Engineering Manager
- Round #4 - Technical React (task-based - continuation of #1) with Lead Engineer
Heard back within 1 day from the recruiter. Standard 'sorry, not hired' without any feedback, even upon request.
