Process

I applied online, and the process took one week.

The interview consisted of four rounds (three technical and one culture), lasting one hour each. Each technical round had the same structure:

  • The interviewer introduces themselves.
  • I introduce myself and my experience.
  • Live coding.
  • Q&A.

The recruiter and team managed to fit all four rounds into two days, and I got a response the next Monday, so it felt super quick. All interviewers were friendly and pleasant to talk to.

Generally, the live-coding tasks are simple, allowing any language (except for the React task) and situational pseudo-code. I didn't record, but it felt like 10 to 20 minutes each. The last 10 minutes were for Q&A, mainly from my side. The rest was just talks about experience, the position, projects, AI, tech, and other topics.

Questions

Given React code, implement proper error handling and idle state.

Implement a simple event management class.

Implement a palindrome function. Make it work with non-clean inputs. Make it as performant as possible.

Given a code snippet, implement efficient caching.
