I received a pre-placement offer (PPO) from Microsoft India during my internship there in May 2018.

Once an IIT student secures a PPO from Microsoft, they become eligible for an on-campus interview for Microsoft Redmond.

I had a 1:1 interview. The interviewer flew from Microsoft Redmond. We discussed my CV, mostly projects. I was asked four questions, and the interview lasted about 1 to 1.5 hours.

I was asked data structure and algorithm problems of average difficulty, and I had to write the code on paper. Additionally, I was asked two difficult operating system problems.
