Process

I applied online. The process took two months.

After your resume shortlisting round, there are three rounds.

  • First round: An OA, which was a HackerRank test where we had two DSA questions. I would rate the first question two out of five and the second question three out of five. They are word problem-based, like Codeforces contest-type questions. One was based on string manipulation, and another involved using a priority queue.
  • Second round: The main focus was on your resume, HLD, and LLD, and they had told me to design some LLD over there. It was pretty standard, nothing too difficult.
  • Third round: It was more just computer science fundamentals followed by some basic DSA questions. The problem I was given had a tricky merge interval-based solution.

Questions

The HLD round involved general questions such as:

  • How does scalability work?
  • What is an API?
  • What is the difference?
  • How would you scale it for 30,000 users, 50,000 users, 1 million users, and so on?
  • What are the best practices that can be taken into consideration when designing APIs and other stuff like that?
