Process

My friend received an email from a recruiter regarding a hiring event. He forwarded my contact information to the recruiter, and that's how the process started.

First was an online assessment that included two easy coding questions and one debugging task.

After that, there was an onsite interview with four 45-minute interviews.

Questions

Data structures, Java interview questions, processes & threads, deadlocks & syncs.

Every coding question started with the basics. As you complete it, the interviewer usually changes the problem slightly and asks what you would change from your solution.

  • Stack using queues.
  • Generate a BST given a double linked list.
  • Largest sum of a substring from an array of integers and the index where it starts from.
  • Valid anagram.
  • Most profit, partitioning the rod problem.
  • Design an elevator.
