Process

The hiring manager reached out to me via email from LinkedIn. They gave me a choice between an on-site screen and a phone screen. I opted for the on-site interview, and the interviewer was super friendly. They asked unusual behavioral questions, which was a refreshing change. The interviewer asked a very easy coding question, followed by a very difficult one. The interviewer didn't know C++ and had never seen his question solved the way I did it, so he couldn't really determine if my solution was correct or not.

I moved on to the on-site loop a few weeks later. Only three interviews were planned, but a fourth was added partway through the day with the hiring manager. The questions were all reasonably simple with difficult constraints added before coding. They were LeetCode medium/hard level for sure.

The recruiter reached out with an offer the next day. I was able to negotiate well because I had a competing offer.

Questions
