Software Engineer Interview Experience - Shanghai, China
Process
I had two telephone interviews and two onsite interviews.
In the telephone interviews, the interviewers were all PMs (I believe). They asked me many questions about my resume.
During the onsite interviews, the interviewers asked me two simple algorithms, which were very easy. They also asked me some system design questions.
Questions
Q: How to reverse a string?
Q: Given an unsorted integer array, how to arrange it so that every digit is bigger or smaller than its left and right digits? O(n) time cost.
Q: Design a distributed system to handle real-time data.
